Our program through this initiative successfully conducted a demonstration of a new technology that can create mass quantities of cleaning and sterilization solutions to assist in providing a safe environment for commuters in the Philadelphia Metro Area. The demonstration consisted of testing heavily trafficked areas for biological contagions, cleaning and sterilizing the affected areas, then conducting a post application test.  The goal is to provide a low-cost effective method to ensure maximum efficacy of sterilization as members of the community begin utilizing public transportation while returning to the workforce.
